Badges are required for admission to all scientific sessions and social events.
Cellular phones must be switched off during conference sessions and social events.
The conferencee office will be in Bldg 8 (Haus 8) room 0.53, right as you enter the building. The opening hours:
All plenary and parallel sessions will take place in Bldg 8. Poster sessions will take place in Bldg 9. The exhibition hall is also in Bldg 8.
A pinboard with last minute announcements and additional information will be in front of the Conference Office. There will be space for posting personal notes to other conference participants as well.
A small computer pool in Bldg 8 room 0.69 will be available for checking email and accessing Internet. Participants having laptops with WLAN cards can also use the wireless network at the conference site. Access codes will be given during check-in.
The official language of the conference is English.
We can store your luggage should you need to bring it to the conference site. Take it to the Conference Office. To avoid identification problems, we ask you to attach name tags to all items.
LOST AND FOUND
A lost-and-found box will be in the Conference Office. Posters left over after poster sessions can be picked in the Conference Office as well.
First-aid kit will be in the conference office.
PRESENTATION FILES CHECK
Laptops identical to presentation computers will be in the Conference Office for your perusal. You can use them to check your presentation any time the office is open.
Coffee, tea, and other beverages will be served during conference breaks.
If you have problems with accessing WLAN or with using our computers in the office or computer pool, ask office staff to arrange for assistance.
TICKETS FOR EXCURSIONS
Tickets for the New Palace Tour and the Horse-Carriage Ride will be sold in the Conference Office. Also during the welcome reception on Sunday. Cash only.
