The conference registration fee is 150 Euro. As of August 1st, the fee goes up to 200 Euro. The conference fee includes lunches, refreshment breaks, shuttle bus service from selected hotels, and the Barbeque Party on Tuesday evening, August 21st.
The reduced registration fee for students, including PhD students, and other predocs is 130 Euro until end of July and then goes up to 180 Euro. Registering at a reduced rate requires mailing or faxing a proof of status to the ECEM2007 office. The status at the time of registration is considered, so getting a doctorate between the registration and the conference does not affect the fee.
Conference participants are expected to make their own hotel and travel arrangements. Hotel and travel information is provided elsewhere on this web site.
The conference registration and abstract submission must be done online on this web site using "Participant Dashboard," our interactive registration and abstract submission system (the top link on the navigation bar). When you register, you set a password that allows you to login again to continue with registration, submit the abstract, or check on the status of your registration or abstract submission.
Note that the fee payment is required to complete the registration. Abstract submission is possible only after registration.
The fee payment is handled by Kagi, an online payment service. They accept all major credit cards, wire transfers, checks, purchase orders, postal orders, paypal, and even cash. The payment can be done in several different currencies, although some forms of payment have currency restrictions and may incur additional fees.
