Experimental and Biological Psychology

Our research goal is the development mathematical and/or computational models of the dynamical interactions between sensory perception, attention, decision processes, memory retrieval, and motor preparation. This dynamical systems approach to cognition replaces the traditional framework of sense-think-act processing cycles.
