Publications


Ulrich Schiefele is Professor of Educational Psychology at the University of Potsdam. His research interests refer to several aspects of learning and motivation: effects of motivation and interest on text learning, learning behavior and motivation at the university, the dependence of reading literacy on reading motivation and reading frequency, and the relation between motivation and instructional behavior of teachers. This research is in part funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (German Research Foundation). Between 1998 and 2005, Ulrich Schiefele was a member of the National Board of the International Research Project PISA.
